There are many search and give sites you can use when you are searching the web. So instead of using google or yahoo use one of these and you will be helping out a charity while doing something you normally do every day.
http://www.goodsearch.com/ You choose the charity you want to help and every search is worth around 1 cent. You can also shop at different online stores through this site to help raise money. I buy from amazon all the time and its great knowing that part of my purchase will go towards charity.
http://www.goodtree.com/ You can register and create an account and also pick out which charity each search goes to. Each search donates around 1/2 a cent for your select charity.
http://www.searchandgive.com/ Pick your favorite charity to search for.
http://www.clicks4cancer.com/ 70% of their revenue goes to various cancer foundations
http://www.yodogo.com/ For every search, they will donate one cent to Unicef and the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF).
http://www.ripple.org/ This site allows you to click and search to fight poverty
http://www.theecokey.com/ Powered by google this is an earth friendly website. They donate 40% of their revenue to organizations that remove litter Worldwide. Also Your search results will bring up Eco friendly results for example a search for "dish soap" using the Eco-Filtered Search option delivers results that are limited to eco-friendly, sustainable dish soap.

Aid to children

This site helps build your vocabulary while you help them raise money to help children in need. They give you a word and then give you four more words and you have to pick which one means the same thing as the first word. For every correct answer they donate .25 cents to children in need. 25 cents is enough money to feed a child a meal which means for every 100 correct answers a child is fed a meal. There is no limit to how much you can play each day which is one of my favorite parts about this site I don't like to be limited on how much I can help. Stamps for Charity

Another great way to help out when you don't have much money is donate used stamps to charity. I found a charity that takes them called The Royal National Institute of Blind People. They help people who have lost their site by teaching them and giving them the tools to get through the every day challenges that they face. When you send them used stamps they sell them by weight unless they are valuable then they can sell them for more to collectors. So if you have a bunch of stamps just laying around or getting thrown away at home or at work then put them to good use. If you would like to donate go to www.rnib.org.uk click on get involved, fundraising, recycling, then used stamps. They will give you the instructions and the address to send them to. They also take cell phones, Ink cartridges, and foreign coins.

The Hunger Site

The hunger site is another click to donate site. All the funds raised by the click go to Mercy Corp, Feeding America, and Millennium promise who use it to distribute food to those who need it. So go click at http://www.thehungersite.com/. Linked to the hunger site is 5 other sites. One of them is The breast cancer site where each click goes to help give monograms to women who cant afford them. The child health site is another one where every click helps give medical treatment to kids who need it. Next is the Literary site where you clicks go towards funding free books for children. Then there is the Rainforest's site where every click helps to preserve the rainforest's by funding the purchase of rainforest's land by The Nature Conservancy, The Rainforest's Conservation Fund, The World Parks Endowment, and Rainforest2Reef. The last one is The Animal Rescue Site. Every click helps provide food and care for rescued animals living in shelters and sanctuaries. Go click and help your favorite cause.

You can donate bibles to persecuted Christians world wide by going to http://www.thebiblesite.org/ and clicking. They have been able to donate 113,229 bibles because of the click to donate program. So please go and click and also pray for all those people who are being persecuted for their faith. They have a prayer page and map that shows all the countries where Christians are persecuted the worst.

The first click to donate site I found was www.care2.com. If you already do a lot of clicking to donate I'm sure you have already found this site. There are 11 different causes you can click for. Helping children in need, saving the rainforest's, saving big cat habitat, stop breast cancer, help shelter pets, save baby seals, protects our oceans, support primates, stop global warming, stop women violence and protect wolves You can click each of them once a day. I love being able to help so many different causes If you make an account it keeps track of your impact which I love being able to see how much I have helped. There are also petitions you can sign every day. They also have a volunteer section where it list places that need volunteers in your area. I live in a small area so they didn't have any listed. There are also groups to join and an area that has information and tips on healthy green living. So pleas go and click away.

Blogging for Charity

Being a stay at home mom and babysitter I never have the time to do volunteer work or have much money to donate. Looking online I found some click to donate sites and search engines but I want to do more. I decided to make this blog to let others know about the sites and help promote charities and organizations. I'm also donating all the profits made from adds on this blog to charity. I'm very excited about this blog and hope that I can make a difference.
